Veterinary Medicine Mobility Act heads to the White House
July 30, 2014 —
The U.S. Senate recently passed the U.S. House’s version of the Veterinary Medicine Mobility Act, completing the final step to send this bill to President Obama.
This bill is extremely important to resolve an ongoing issue for veterinarians who need to transport and dispense controlled substances outside of their DEA-registered locations in order to provide the best care for their animal patients. AASV supported AVMA’s efforts to get this bill passed.
