Dr. Mark Thompson recently accepted a position as Breed to Wean Business Unit Veterinarian with The Maschhoffs in Carlyle, Illinois. His duties include accountability for biosecurity, health management, food safety, and regulatory compliance, especially in relation to the breed-to-wean aspect of The Maschhoffs' enterprises. For the past two years, Thompson was employed in a regulatory role at USDA APHIS, and prior to that, was a private practitioner for approximately 17 years.
