AASV Foundation 2008 Fundraising Auction

Everybody bid-a-now!
Inspired by the Good to Great lessons of last year's annual meeting, the Auction Committee's "Big Hairy Audacious Goal" is to raise $50,000 at this year's auction. To accomplish that goal, we need your help! Your participation in the AASV Foundation Live and Silent Auctions will support the Foundation's mission to ensure the future of swine veterinary medicine by funding research, scholarships, and educational programs and materials.

Donate an item
We're relying on contributions of auction items to make this year's auction a success. To donate an item, simply complete the Auction Item Donation Form and submit it by December 1. Donors will be recognized along with a description of the items in the auction catalog to be printed and distributed prior to the annual meeting. The information will also be posted to the online auction listing, and we'll recognize your contribution in the AASV e-Letter as well. When considering items to donate, keep in mind that the $50,000 goal can be achieved by auctioning 100 donated items at $500 each. Of course, the AASVF welcomes ALL donations and contributions! Successful auction items in the past have included hunting & fishing trips, handcrafted items, sporting equipment, artwork, and tickets to sporting events and other activities.

Make a financial contribution
Let us do the shopping for you. Use the Auction Item Donation Form to make a financial contribution, and we'll purchase an item for the auction and list you as the donor. Your contribution is tax deductible.

Check out the items up for bid
Take a look at the items already donated for this year's auction, and make plans to bid now! Remember, since the items have been donated, 100% of your winning bid will support the AASV Foundation! Plus, the amount of your bid over the retail value of the item is tax deductible!
